Well wishes for German National team written on Giant Pakistan-made football

Pak-German Council for Culture and Democracy in cooperation with Pakistan Embassy Berlin has exhibited a hand stitched Giant football at Potsdamer Platz in Berlin. This football is made in Pakistan, its radius is 330 cm, there is one German flag printed on it while two Pakistani flags can be seen as well. This football was exhibited at Potsdamer Platz on 12 th of June 2010 from 2:00 PM till 6:00 PM.

Potsdamer Platz is very known for shopping Malls and tourist attraction in Berlin. Fans of German National Team were invited to write their well wishes on the Giant Football in many different colours and languages. Ball was filled in first one and half hour with wishes written by many women, men and children from different nationalities and background.

This Football is now permanently exhibited in Budespressestrand Berlin.

Many hundred people have written on this football while many thousand people have seen it on the 12 th of June and still watching it in Bundespressestrand in Berlin. Ambassdor of Pakistan visited the exhibition and wrote his wishes for the German team.

 

Officers of Pakistan Embassy and members of Pakistan community came in big numbers with families and wrote their wishes for the German National Team. President of Pak-German Council for Culture & Democracy (DPG) Shahid Riaz, Press Consular in Pakistan Embassy Ghulam Haider, David Rieger Vice President of (DPG) and Canan Korucu-Rierger were present during the football exhibition.
